I absolutely LOVE this computer, I am working on it right now.
Mine was delivered with Windows 8.1.I upgraded to Windows 10, (which worked fine with the Lenovo, but I HATED the way it wrecked explorer, control panel, and my tiles, that I reverted back.)
The bad:
At over 14" tall and 6 inches wide and over 15" deep, it is a behemoth, and the case requires two turn screws to turn to open.
The worst.
You cannot add a video card without first altering a bios setting.

The Good:
It is quiet, both the fan and the hard drive

On the front panel there is a SDHC full size slot, two USB, and AUDIO (in and out)
DVD writer
The rear panel has about 5 more USB slots

The best
Very low price
Very reliable

I had purchased another low priced model from another VERY WELL KNOWN and REPUTABLE internet retailer 3 months before and bait and switched and had no recourse!Lesson learned.I stay with Amazon.

I love my H50, it is performing fantastically for me during the last few months.I bought it as a cheap complete basic desktop that I could customize into a gaming rig on a budget.

Beware to the faint of heart, the H50 is not built of standard core parts so advanced hardware upgrades as the one I accomplished are *not* straightforward! Lenovo custom builds non standard power supplies and motherboards in order to cut out every unnecessary wire, connector, and Watt. This is why this desktop with good specs is at such a good price. You are getting what you pay for! You cannot build a PC with these specs at home with new off the shelf consumer parts for much less than this price. The reason for that is Lenovo doesn't use consumer off the shelf parts!

To get the following upgrades installed:
1. nVidia Geforce GTX-670eVGA discrete graphics card
2. Second SATA hard disk drive

I needed more power! Lenovo sized the included power supply unit (PSU) to nearly exactly meet the minimum required by the H50. Again, this makes it cheap! But when performing the upgrades after purchase I found:
1. Non ATX standard, undersized PSU
2. Non ATX standard motherboard

To upgrade either of these components without upgrading them both, you must spend extra time and money:
1. PSU has custom motherboard power supply connector.
2. With a new PSU or MB, you will need an adapter to connect to or from the nonstandard power connector
3. I built my own adapter based on DIY website instructions from a 24 pin to 20 pin adapter. Cutting and soldering was required!
4. Note all SATA power in the H50 comes from the motherboard. If you replace the motherboard you will no longer have the SATA power connections. These will have to come from a new PSU or another complicated adapter \ hack.

I bought two identical systems, and the PCs work great using integrated graphics.However I had known-good discrete graphics cards, Nvidia GT 610's and when popping one in to either Lenovo system, I got no video at all.No BIOS, no Windows boot, nothing.Putting the video card in another PC worked immediately, but either card in either Lenovo, I got nothing.The systems are passing the Lenovo Solutions PCI-Express test, but are essentially useless to me as systems needed to support dual displays.I'd be curious to hear if anyone else experienced the problem when adding a discrete video card.

I bought this to be a school and netflix computer and it does those things well enough. Overall it's not too slow and not too fast... basically the Goldilocks of value desktops. The internet is a tad slow but considering the price I'm very happy with it.
Windows 8.1 is a HUGE pain though.

I was so disappointed when this Lenovo H50 was delivered, I should have known something was not right
with the box being taped with brown mailing paper over the top of the box, it looked like it had been a return
maybe. After one hour of trying to get it to do something and a call into Lenovo Support, who were wonderful
at trying to help, they concluded It was a Bad Hard drive, on this so called brand new computer. Back
it went, with no problems returning, and super fast at giving me my money back. But again very
disappointed to get a bad computer..

UPDATE: I' ve had computer almost 6 months and it has operated flawlessly. I followed the directions in the User Guide in regards to 5.1 Surround Sound and the integrated sound function works as specified. It is unfortunate that ignorant buyers or buyers unable to read have complained that 5.1 isn't supported.
I also did not have any "viruses" included with the shipped operating system as other buyers have complained. They must have invaded the computer during inventory or shipment. Bad, bad virus.
I didn't intend to install an enhanced graphics card, 3 extra hard drives and an extra blu-ray disc drive when I purchased so I can't complain that the computer doesn't have a "standard" power supply or "standard" motherboard as others have. If I wanted a full blown system, I would have purchaseda full blown system.
Today I have ordered a second one.
