It is so durable, fast, and lightweight. The charge holds for very long and you can always check how much longer the battery will last letting me gauge how long I have on impromptu study/work outings. During a trip, my charging cord was damaged and I was able to acquire a new one for $7 through Amazon (shipping took 2 weeks, more expensive ones arrive sooner). Even buying one in store would have only run me $30.
Chrome OS is such a dream. The automatic update reminders, quick updating, and ability to run so many pages, tabs, and applications at once makes it a great system for someone with ADHD in particular. I am able to keep tabs an pages open for my multitude of projects without losing operation speed.
How it could be improved:
-free/one-time cost, video application. I attempted to use my chromebook to videotape lectures a year ago, and while the easy flip camera was fantastically placed for it, the lack of a proper and affordable application made the point moot.
Bought two of them for my kids.I’m an IT guy and these are perfect for kids or even someone who wants a tough device for browsing the web.Even my youngest at 5 years old, can find games, install them himself, surf the web, watch youtube all on his own.The kids have also dropped them, stood on top of them, and are not always careful with these laptops and they have held up so far with two months of the kids treatment.
Son’s Christmas present, this was the model recomended to me by our computer tech guy at the local public school, it is rugged, has long battery life, and good screen, just hope he can hang on to it.Great value!
I thought this was a great bargain for about a year.worked perfectly and was pleased with product for the price.Unfortunately, yesterday the screen froze and I can not get it to do anything.Unless I can figure out how to fix this I would suspect the old rule stands "you get what you pay for".

The Lenovo has done basically I expected it to do but it is a tad slower than my laptop computer and desktop computer.Other than that, this is a nice machine that does exactly what i wanted it to be able to do and that was to do Facebook, emails, browse various sites etc.I am glad to have this product as one of my three computers.For me it is a little harder to work out the issues associated with printing from this machine so for now I have not been able to print.Other than that, great machine.

Bought direct from Lenovo.After hemming and hawing over minute details, I decided to pull the trigger on the 4gb version of the N21. Its one of the most affordable with 4gb of memory which is why I decided on it.
Things I love: Great feel, seems solidly built. Keys feel good and not 'flimsy' like other laptops. Good viewing angle and decent screen resolution and brightness. Fast (I do lots of typing and watching videos and such) Great trackpad
Less great? The camera is on a swivel.Not sure why or how much abuse it could survive, but no biggie because I don't foresee ever using the swivel. The keyboard isn't quite centered in relation to the screen.Takes a slight adjustment, but is a tad annoying for about 10 seconds.
I've only had it a short while, but so far I'm loving it.Incredibly portable and fast (enough for a chromebook.)

As a school IT specialist I am tasked with maintaining the 186 N21 Chromebooks we purchased for our high school 9th graders. 9 have had an identical initial defect in that touching the trackpad or surrounding area causes a keyboard input of a string of numbers. 11 days have passed with 5 online chats with support and 4 unfilled promises of call back from customer service and no progress on a repair. No repair authorization, no address to ship to; nothing. It appears that the way Lenovo has kept the cost low is to not cover their warranty. Our previous purchase of Acer Chromebooks also yielded 5%~10% failures, but the warranty service was a breeze.

Anti peel keys - baloney.these are regular peelable keys and the swivel camera piece is just begging to be broken off.Returning these and going back to Samsung.
